The Wilton Recycling Center needs YOU to roll up your sleeves and join the effort to restore its efficiency, cleanliness and usefulness. (Click here to download the flyer.)
Five towns use the Center, and when we join together and work with the local Sanitation Commission to clean up and organize the Center it will be more efficient, effective and will regain its ranking as Best in State!
We need ideas, sweepers, shovels, carpenters, strong backs, willing hands, gardeners, donations of perennial shrubs and trees (zone 5 hardy), etc.
Contact Stasia Millett for information and a commitment to help get the Center into shape. 654-2186 or [email protected]
It’s time for Mason’s annual Roadside Cleanup! It can be done anytime through mid-May. Choose the time that works for you and clean up your favorite section of road.
Charlie Lanni of the Mason Conservation Commission is coordinating. The big blue bags are available at Charlie’s Auto, 575 Jackson Road, right outside the front of the garage.
Please call Charlie at the shop (878-3637) to let him know where and when you can do your part of the cleanup. When you’re done, just leave the blue bags by the roadside for the Mason Highway Department to collect.
Many thanks — many hands make light work!
